About Me

Hey! I'm Jagdeep Sidhu, a 2nd year Computer Science student at Simon Fraser University based in Vancouver, BC. I enjoy building well-designed projects that solve real problems, and I’m always looking for opportunities to learn by doing.

Outside of academics, I bring a competitive and team-driven mindset from basketball, where I have played at a high level, placed in tournaments and won prize money. The discipline, strategy and resilience I’ve developed through basketball strongly influence how I approach problem-solving and long-term goals in tech.

I also have work experience beyond traditional software development. I’ve worked as a Community Manager and Web3 Advisor, collaborating with a wide range of companies and individuals, some with millions of followers. In these roles, I’ve helped shape online communities, advised on product and growth strategy, and helped translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible experiences for non-technical users. Exposure to fast-moving Web3 environments has made me comfortable learning new technologies and building systems where standards are still evolving.

When I’m not coding, studying or hooping, I’m usually reading a book, playing video games or at the gym. I also love to travel, explore nature and practice my photography skills!

Feel free to shoot me an email if you'd like to chat!
